Match report Like an old time mariner trying to crew a ship skipper Daren Bigg trawled high and low but could only muster nine players for the trip to Bergholt. Toiling under the hot sun the magnificent nine never gave up but despite this in the end the home team batting first ended up with 229 for 8 wickets. Main Scorers for Bergholt were Tingey with 103, Barran with 25 and Skine with 41, Phil King took 3 for 38, Bigg 3 for 36, Nat 1 for 43, and Sakti 1 for 46. Melford responded with Indian superstar Nat scoring 88,(despite a Broad like controversy) Bigg 21 and shut up shop with Richard Kemp on 10 not out. In the end a 65 run defeat but not without the brave nine making the home team work hard,
